Scrapbook Circle: Take 2

Hi there! I was up last week over at the Scrapbook Circle Blog with a Take Two project inspired by Diana Waite....

Here is my take on it:

So Cool
I obviously drew inspiration from the circles. I changed it up a bit to fit my 8.5x11 format by using 5 rows of 3 circles instead of 6 rows of 4....and using a square photo.
I usually keep my backgrounds pretty plain, so I love how this corrugated paper adds interest, yet is still subtle enough to make the circles pop.
I used the main April kit, and some elements from both of the embellishment add-ons for this layout. Need more inspiration? ...be sure to check out the Scrapbook Circle Idea Gallery.

Scrapbook Circle: April Kit + Now or Never Add-on

Hello! I was up on the Scrabook Circle Blog awhile back with a layout made with the One Fine Day kit, and the Now or Never embellishment Add-on.

Thirteen
The Palm Spring Thickers are amazing. I really liked how they kind of matched the color and sheen of my photo.
I used bits and pieces from the 6x6 pad to create a tag, hole reinforcer, and the xoxo strip...so many great patterns to choose from. I popped up the die cut phrase, to help it stand out a little better, since I placed it over a busy area...and I picked out the little 'celebrate' sticker is from the Pink Fresh Word and Phrase Stickers.
The Now or Never add-on is a great addition to an already amazing kit. Need more inspiration? Check out the Scrapbook Circle Idea Gallery to jump start your creativity!

Clique Kits: Guest Designing with the Spring Card Kit

Hello! I had the awesome opportunity to play with the Clique Kits Spring Card Kit...

I wanted to try something different, so both of the cards that I'm sharing here today are bifolds. The kit is filled with so many options for sentiments, I also added a little something to the inside of each.

Charm
I kind of have a theme going, I couldn't help myself with the large flower dies, and the acrylic words....so pretty.
 Inside sentiment...

Sweet
I really liked the placement of  'Lovely' on this tag. It works well with the sentiment on the front. But then you open it up....
...and it is also part of the inside sentiment. It is taped to the bottom flap, so open it  all the way up, and there is room to sign it.
I hoped I have given you some fresh ideas, hop on over to the Clique Kits Blog to see two more cards made with this gorgeous kit!

Scrapbook Circle: DT Choice, Hidden Journaling

Hello! I was up on the Scrapbook Circle blog last Saturday with a DT Choice Project. I included a little hidden journaling tip...something that I've been doing quite a bit, lately.

Today
I used a few elements from both of the embellishment add-on kits, Now or Never and Stay Cool, but mostly used the main part of the April kit, One Fine Day.
I wanted my journaling tag to stay up/overlapping my photo....and I also wanted the little circle embellishment to stay put in that little notch. So, I positioned the tag where I wanted it, and used foam tape to keep it in place on the 3x4 card before sticking it down.
Pull the tag out to read, and it easily slips right back into place. Need more inspiration for using the April kit? Check out the Scrapbook Circle Idea Gallery for more fabulous ideas!

Scrapbook Circle: 1 Product, 2 Ways

I was up over at the Scrapbook Circle Blog, along with fellow CT member, Diana Waite, last Tuesday for their 1 Product/2 Ways  post.  We used the exclusive Scrapbook Circle wood veneers from the April Kit, One Fine Day

Together
Along with the main kit, I also included elements from both the Stay Cool and Now or Never add on embellishment kits.
I liked the idea of using all of the veneers on my page, and thought that they looked nice in grid directly beneath  my photo. I chose papers and embellishments that sort of enhanced colors from the picture, keeping the area behind the grid white so that they would stand out.
Be sure to head over to the Scrapbook Circle Blog to see how Diana used the wood veneers on her cute page! Need more ideas on how to use the April Kit? Check out the Scrapbook Circle Idea Gallery.
